SHOT-EMGUEST

GUEST PASS One server. One pack. That's it.

Somebody invited you onto the server for a video or a session. Install this, sign in with your Microsoft account, hit join. It looks up which modpack the server is running, installs exactly that, and gets you in.

Guest
launcher.

Free download — the guest password comes from whoever invited you. You also need your own copy of Minecraft: Java Edition on a Microsoft account — the guest launcher doesn't do offline names.

02 Guest Locked

Shot-Em Guest

A separate, stripped-down app. No pack list, no accounts menu, no console: just the server's status, a memory slider and a Join button.

Guest setup

  1. Unlock & run the installer. Enter the guest password above, then run the file. If SmartScreen says “unrecognized app”, click More info → Run anyway. It installs to its own folder and won't touch a player install.
  2. Sign in with Microsoft. Use the account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition. Your sign-in is remembered for next time.
  3. Join. The launcher pulls the server's pack and downloads Java the first time. After that it updates itself and the pack when the server changes.

Why can't I pick a modpack?

On purpose. Guest only ever installs the pack the server is running, so you can't end up on the wrong version.

Done with it?

Hit Remove all in the app, or uninstall from Windows. Either one clears the guest's packs and data too.

Where's the password?

Whoever invited you has it. It's a separate password from the player one, just to keep the download from spreading.

Mac or Linux?

Windows only for now.
